Long Morning Commute
holy hell...
This morning getting to Grandma's was nuts!
First we encountered a cement truck parked on Main St as they are pouring the new side walk... we get past this and there's a Tractor Trailer broken down in the intersection. We wait a few minutes until someone finally realizes we can go around them via Nice N Easy on the right Daylight Donut on the left!
Detour thru 'sleazy' and catch the stop light. Go about a quarter mile and hit next stop light at the Thruway. Go 200 yards and they have the bridge closed to one lane traffic as they are replacing guard rails - watch flannel clad older woman in car ahead of me comb her mullet ... go another 1/2 mile and we're back to one lane cone heaven as they lay new shoulder to the sides of Rt 233
.... and all this without my banjo music
Needless to say, we went home by way of W. Carter/Bartlett/Lowell.
