Last night my daughter was doing her homework, and at the top of the page about an inch from her own name, she wrote the letter's G - O - D.

I starred at it for a moment and then asked her why she just wrote GOD on her paper. Ellen responded, "its just like in America."

I felt my heart skip a beat inside my chest.

Then I heard my husband whispered, "In God We Trust," and I understood what she was saying.  I'm not sure where that came from in that moment, but the message in her words is clear.

She truly is beautiful.
